The colours are vivid and vibrant and aren't simple there, they give you a sense of feeling. Rather than use a large scale of colours to try to appeal to many, a simple colour set used and polished makes a big difference. And the under use of gore in trying to explain the situation still works perfectly, too much would have pushed the image to far in the wrong direction until it lost it's balance, but balance has been maintained throughout. Even the character interaction, rather than a simple "I killed them" it's more of a "they think they can kill me" scenario. I would like to finish by saying how much the layout is important, it was set out in a comic book style manner, and that works! Especially with this kind of story! Good luck! Great Job!
You should have put this up for critique! I would have quite a bit to say about it. It was incredible, the colours used were perfect and weren't pushed out of scale. Within this, you also established a connection between characters, with a subtle effect so people knew what was going on without it needing to be explained, that's always a high point. And then there is the bloody end; not too bloody as to be over-gore but not so little as to be almost a censorship. Great job! You have been critically assessed by DA's friendly neighbourhood SpiderCritic!
